Nuevos sellitos en español!!!

Porque muchas los pidieron!! siii, estos sellitos estaban listos antes que los de Be a blessing, pero cuando me di cuenta lo difícil que era conseguir la Biblia de "journaling" o margen amplio en español, los guardé!! pero como han dicho, hay en español?? Blog Hop Latina Arts & Crafts: Día internacional de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama

Saludos y bienvenidas a este hermos BLOG HOP ROSA organizado por las chicas de Latina Arts & Crafts!! Es un gran honor para mí haber sido invitada a participar con este grupo de súper talentosas chicas!! así que me puse manos a la obra para ver cómo podía hacer que mi vestido rosa luciera de show, por supuesto que tenía que tener tul fuschia, mi rosa favorito, y en la parte de arriba usé papel crepé, lo acentué con unas flores y aunque no se ve mucho, la cintura está entallada con un pedazo de pipe cleaner en plateado!! La frase es de un archivo digital que cree especialmente para compartir en esta linda actividad. 

Para las que no me conocen y/o no saben mi mamá y mi mejor amiga son sobrevivientes de cáncer de mama por lo cual esta es una causa con la cual me siento bien identificada. Además, tengo muchas amigas sobrevivientes y me gusta llevar el mensaje de prevención y educación. Gracias a Latina Arts & Crafts por este lindo trabajo que han realizado y si aún no te has hecho la prueba, te invito a hacerlo, hace unas semanas me hice un "scan" espero pronto los resultados, orando para que todo esté bien!! pero siempre hay que tocarse y examinarse!!

Felices por siempre: Flogger Puro amor

Hoy les traemos una hermosa tarjeta de MICAELA FERRERO usando el sello Puro Amor de su creación!! Es una tarjeta sencillamente hermosa y delicada! Les dejo con Micaela!!

Esta vez sin usar a Flogger, porque no quiero cansarte. Hice una tarjeta simple, para regalar cuando te invitan a un casamiento.

Es simple, porque el look final es del llamado Clean & Simple en Cardmaking, como bien saben. Pero como toda tarjeta requiere un poco de dedicación. Y esa dedicación, no suele ser tan simple!

Lindo Viernes para tod@s!!! Hoy les comparto un Layout o Pagina  de Scrapbook muy perruna, un trabajo dedicado a mi mascota, mi perro Bentley usando un sello que me encanta! de los nuevos sellos de Flogger y utilizando  papel Kraft tan de moda, que de paso les comento súper practico porque  combina con cualquier color que lo quieras trabajar

los sentimientos le van de maravilla, los selle directo sobre el papel Kraft que esta texturizado y sello divino!, en los banners también selle hileras de puntos para agregar mas color negro a mi trabajo

aunque mi perro es un Schnauzer Flogger me fascina, el sellito y el sentimiento lo describe perfecto

 encantada con mi Lo' Perruno!! espero les agrade mi trabajo los sellos que utilice son Flogger Relax  y Mis Frases Favoritas

Let your light shine and Be the light

This week, Latina Crafter released a new line of stamps, Be a Blessing for Bible Art Journaling.  I had the privileged to create in my Bible with the stamp set Be the Light

I have seen the beautiful Bible Journaling pages in my Instagram feed and thought, I wouldn't be able to create in my Bible, but after watching Rebekah R. Jones' amazing Bible journaling tutorials, I had a second thought, but even then I didn't start.  It wasn't until I watched a video of a TV personality, sharing the story of her late husband's Bible.  A Bible that was passed onto him by his mother.  In there she journaled the hardships they experienced during the Great Depression.  I was moved to tears.  I knew right at that moment, I wanted to start journaling in my Bible.

And so here I am sharing one of my pages with you.  I have learned plenty of tips from watching Rebekah's tutorials.  If this is new for you and it's something you would like to start, I highly recommend you start watching her tutorials.  She has a weekly Bible verse challenge that include different art mediums you can use.  Not only does provide art tutorials but also delivers a beautiful study on that week's scripture.

Today I am sharing my page from Rebekah's Week 30 Challenge, Mathew 5: 14-16

¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. ¹⁶ In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

In addition to the supplies in the photo, I used Latina Crafter's Classic ABC stamp set, Let Your Light Shine stencil, clear Wink of Stella and washi tape.


Start by protecting the pages before and behind the page you plan to journal on.  Apply a  thin layer of the Matte Gel with a sponge brush.  Keeping your heat gun at a safe distance, dry the front and back of your page.  Passing the heat gun on the backside helps with the wrinkles.

Instead of coloring pencils as stated in Week 30 Challenge, I used my eBrush to cover my page.  Please use what you have.  If you have watercolors, acrylics, color pencils use them.

I used a yellow Sharpie with my eBrush I sprayed the whole page using the first setting on the machine.   I then used the eBrush on the third setting to spray the top portion of the page, as that is where I will be stamping and adding light to the page.

On the third photo, I flipped the page so you can see there is no color bleeding on the page.

I heat embossed the sayings and the lighthouse with gold and shimmer gold embossing powders.  I then secured the sunburst stencil and the page with washi tape and went over it with clear Wink of Stella.

Desde El Taller de Karla: Cumpleaños con stencil

Hola chicas... lindo día para todas!!!

Hoy les traigo una tarjeta usando stencils.  Primero aseguré con washi tape el stencil de chevron del set "Vive Ama Sueña" en una opalina blanca

Luego lo entinte con distress de dos colores 

Una vez listo lo recorté y lo utilicé como parte del fondo de mi tarjeta. La palabra es del Die "Felicidades y Gracias" y el Wood Veneers de cupcake "Cumpleaños"

Y para complementar mi tarjeta, hice una cajita en forma de cupcake. En ella usé la frase "Feliz Cumpleaños" del set "Felicitaciones" y otro Wood Venneer de mini cupcake, además de los banderines, también de "Cumpleaños"

Y así lucen juntos!!!

Be a blessing Collection!!

WOW, I can't believe I'm sharing this today here. It has been a long way for me with this new collection. You know that I started my journey as a stamper with The Angel Company (TAC, a direct sell company like Stampin Up, CTMH, etc). Since I'm from Puerto Rico and my first language is Spanish I started asking for stamps in Spanish and when TAC closed I ventured myself to this wonderful industry with my own Spanish Line in June 2011!! Back in January 2014 I started in a Bible Group at my church and one night while we were sharing our prayer requests I shared an issue that I was having and we were talking about it, I shared about my business and while talking I shared that I've been thinking about inspirational/Christian stamps in English (now that I live in Texas I need less Spanish sets, LOL) and I prayed about it and prayed about it, and I know the Lord was directing me towards that but I wasn't sure, I was holding on to my fears I'm not sure if I can do it, I have no friends or customers here, there is more people that can do that, I feel quiet comfortable doing the Spanish stamps and everything is going great. But time passed and I keep listening to the same, you need to do it, you care about others and you know that there is a need for encouraging stamps, we as Christian can share His message through art and be a blessing to others. Then I found out about Bible Journaling and oh wow, I was like, yes, you need to do it, see, there is people out there ready to share His message through art and that's how Be a blessing started... 

It's a new collection of FOUR sets that were created to share the good news, to share my passion for the Lord. I've struggle to find a way to share my faith with others and I think that I found it. I pray that God uses me with this new adventure and helps me to be brave and bold for Him. That's my prayer for you too.

I AM, 4 x 6 set

I designed this set as a reminder of what I am in Christ. As a sinner everyday I have to remind myself of what He has done for me. Sometimes I'm very hard with myself and forget that I am here because of His love, His mercy, His grace. I need to have this words to help me going since I've been praying to be bolder and stronger and share His mercy and love for me I wanted to start with one set that we can use to remind ourselves that we are what we are because of what He has done for us.

BE THE LIGHT, 4 x 6 set

I love Matthew 5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

In light of that passage I designed this set. Hope you like it as much as I do. This set can be use for Bible Jouranling and also for inspirational cards for your friends and family, to encourage others to be the light and inspire them to let their light shine.

BTW I just want to share this stencil set that goes perfect wit this stamp!!

TRUST IN THE LORD, 4 x 6 set

I love singing in the card with my daughters and talking to them about Jesus and what He has done in my life. Sometimes life gets hard, but at those moments is when we need to Trust Him, it's not going to be our way, it's going to be His way and we need to Trust in Him and lay everything on Him, keep dancing and know that there are going to be brighter days for those that love Him with all their heart. This sets came from that inspiration, those days that we need to shake it off and let Him lead the way.

THE WAY, 4 x 6 set

I designed this set inspired in John 14:6. While listening to Brandon Heath's new album I have been thinking on how wonderful is He, and that only He is the way. Here a bit of the song "One Way To Heaven":

Ain’t no doorway

Or a stairway

Or a highway to Heaven ...

Desde el taller de Joan... Envolturas Creativas

Hola chicas!!

 Espero que se encuentren bien.  Para hoy les traigo una idea para envolver pequeños regalitos.  Como saben, a mi me encanta envolver los regalos de manera creativa y casi siempre hago uso de los sellos de Latina Crafter para darle los toques que realmente añaden valor.

Hoy se trata de una cajita por supuesto en papel kraft la cual decoré haciendo uso de los sets de sellos Labels para Navidad y Ocasiones Especiales.  También usé el die de polaroid del set Sonrie.

Aquí mi proyecto.  Como verán, con algo bien sencillo de hacer podemos lograr un efecto que sorprenderá a la persona que lo reciba.

Espero que tengan un hermoso día y que se inspiren a crear algo hermoso hoy.

Todos tenemos un propósito...

Linda semana chicas!!! Hoy vengo a presentarles una HERMOSA tarjeta que nos comparte YOLIE!! es una tarjeta con mucho color que le da realce a la hermosa frase que ella usó...

En esta ocasión usó el set UNIDOS SOMOS FUERTES, diseñado por Scrapper Myra para Latina Crafter!!  Este set es hermoso pues tiene unas frases con mucho sentido, aquí les dejo el set!! puedes visitar aquí para comprarlo!!

Hoy quiero recordarles que todos tenemos un propósito y que debemos ir por la vida buscándolo y lograr cumplirlo... Nunca creas que tu vida no tiene sentido, ni propósito, estás aquí por una razón, aún cuando no la hayas encontrado...
