Hello and welcome to LATINA CRAFTER'S blog!! It's a pleasure and an honor to have you here today!! Especially since it's such a special day that you decided to come and hop along with all of us (yikes, it's an impressive list, right?) This is our way to say THANKS for all your support during this wonderful year and I hope you enjoy it and get inspire by it. Remember, every blog has a giveaway, how awesome is that!!
First I want to introduce myself, I know most of you may not know me or my company! My name is Diana and I'm from Puerto Rico, living in the wonderful state of Texas (I love the saying, I'm not a Texan but I came here as fast as I could, yep, it took me sometime but here I am). I'm happily married and have two wonderful and creative daughters, yee-haaaa for me. I'm also a professional counselor but when I had my first daughter I decided to be a SAHM, which lead me to scrapbooking, scrapbooking lead me to stamping through The Angel Company (TAC, a direct selling company that sadly closed its doors in 2011). I was a demo, then a manager, then an executive and I got to know some of the most wonderful ladies in this industry. I used to teach classes at my home and then.... when TAC closed I decided to start my own stamping company, but with a real twist, my stamps were mainly in Spanish. Then I decided to include images and my dear friend Elizabeth from Softpencil Studios joined me with her whimsy and beautiful illustrations, then Esther Cagigal from Spain brought her talent to LC with her amazing collection, and from USA Jennifer Nilsson, she has an amazing talent with her hands you have to see her work. These are just some of our amazing illustrators that design the gorgeous images for Latina Crafter and more to come in 2015. In addition to stamps, we have dies, wood veneers (the coffee ones are very popular ♥), stencils and flairs which we call Bitty Buttons and other products for your crafting needs (embellishments, washi tape, paper and more), even a $1 bin that is amazing (twine, seam binding, doilies, glassine bags, tags and more)!! I'm always looking for cute stuff to add to the shop, new stamp illustrators, new products and new talent ;-)!!
Want to know what are we giving away??
To get in, just leave a comment here telling me if you knew about Latina Crafter before and if you or someone closer to you speaks Spanish!! it can be another stamper that you visit her blog or love her work! I want to share with you a very special project I did for our "Calentando motores con Latina Crafter Blog Hop" (Kick start with Latina Crafter) because it's very special for me.
Bendiciones 2015/ Blessings 2015
It's a book/mini album type of thing, LOL, where I plan to record those little blessings that we have, those tiny ones that we tend to forget, because the bad things always take their place... so my purpose for this 2015 is to seat with my family every Sunday, after church, and write those blessings from the week and then on New Year's eve we will read those, that will be a new tradition for our family and you know what, ALL of them are really excited to start doing it, that is the first blessing I'm planning to write, it was so cool to see their reactions to my idea!! I'm such a blessed girl!!
Here are two more pics where you can see the inside. Every month has a tab and a kraft bag where we plan to add our notes. Each of us will have one to write on during the four weeks of each month!
As you can see I decorated the tabs very simple, just stamped an inspirational quote or a Bible verse and that's it, the tab is from the Tabs and Banners wood veneer set. Then the kraft bags are all decorated with a doilie (from the $1 bin) and scrap of papers, that's it, pretty simple and easy!! Can't wait to read all about it next year!!
Hope you like the project and keep going to all the other blogs!!
Here are our Social Media pages if you want to suscribe, like us or just visit us!!
NOW YOU GO HERE -->Die-Versions
Blessings,
Diana
